Dr Vu Nguyen

Dr Vu Nguyen is a machine learning researcher with a strong interest and experience in developing Bayesian optimisation algorithms for making cost-efficient decisions under uncertainty. His algorithms have been successfully applied to solve diverse applications including brain stimulation, quantum technology, metallurgy, and e-commerce. Dr Nguyen has been awarded best paper awards at PLOS Computational Biology’22, ACML’16, and a winner at AutoML’22 competition. He regularly publishes at top-tier machine learning venues, such as ICML and NeurIPS.
